This week’s deaths

The UK news came to a halt on Friday. Nothing at all happened that day, except the death of Michael Jackson.

One radio person remarked it was more important than the death of Princess Diana. I wanted to shout at the radio: she wasn’t a princess, her death wasn’t important and Jacko’s death was less important than that.

It was odd though, seeing two separate editions of the free London newspaper on the stands at the same time. One featured a big picture of Jackson, the other, Farrah Fawcett, who died on the same day.

Coming of age

It’s hard to believe, but this blog has been on the go continuously for three whole years. Yep, the first was June 29th 2007. Seems like an age ago…

And they said it wouldn’t last.

I’ve always wanted people to contribute. A few people have, and thank you. Looking at similar sites, you see a reluctance for people to talk there too. Well, you can be anonymous, of course.

But, if it’s your fetish, why not talk about it?
